Matcheri Keshavan
A Stanley Cobb Professor and Academic Head of Psychiatry at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, and he is also a senior psychiatrist at the Massachusetts Mental Health Center, Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Keshavan is closely involved in research in neurobiology of psychosis, especially as it pertains to first episode psychotic disorders. In particular, his focus is on the neurodevelopmental basis of schizophrenia, neuroimaging and early intervention. His research has resulted in over 900 publications to date, including 5 books.
Dr. Keshavan is the former Editor in Chief of the Elsevier journals the Asian Journal of Psychiatry and Schizophrenia Research. He has an active clinical practice at the Massachusetts Mental Health Center.
Shivali Vyas
As an incoming MS candidate in the Anatomy and Neurobiology Vesalius Program at BU SOM, Shivali has a passion for research and is keen to learn about the neural mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative diseases. With extensive experience in executing studies and performing a range of statistical analyses, she possesses a solid foundation in research methodology and experimental design, as well as data visualization relating to neuroscience at the molecular and cellular levels.

Veerle Reumers
Dr. Veerle Reumers started her career in academia with a master's and PhD in medical sciences, followed by postdoctoral research in neurosciences at Harvard Medical School. She joined imec’s health department to lead technology development projects ranging from public funded academic collaborations to industry-driven bilateral projects. At imec USA she founded and managed the Space Health division and successfully raised NASA funding to validate imec technologies in a space-relevant environment. Currently she focuses on identifying new partners and enabling synergistic collaborations. Her passion is building relationships so imec’s innovative technologies can make a positive societal impact.
