Theme: TEDxISL Qatar Youth

TEDxISL Qatar Youth 2025 is a student-driven event hosted in Doha on May 24th, centered around the theme “Breaking Barriers: Mind, Body and Beyond.” This independently organized TEDx event features talks exclusively by students from the International School of London (ISL) Qatar, offering a unique platform for youth to share their voices, stories, and visions for the future.

Through the lens of the theme, student speakers explore the personal and collective barriers that shape human experience—whether mental, physical, emotional, or societal. Each talk invites reflection on how we confront challenges, rethink limitations, and expand our understanding of what’s possible.

TEDxISL Qatar Youth is a celebration of student-led thought leadership, encouraging curiosity, empathy, and change—starting with the next generation.

Greetings to all, I am a young grade 10 student who is on his way to make bank. Growing up I was not like the rest of society- talkative -, instead I would listen, figure out people and read them. Your body speaks more than your mouth. My favourite hobby is sleeping, ...and drawing. The whole concept of imagination on paper fascinates me, the only true setback that's holding me back from being the next Davinci, is my own skill, which I'm working on consistently. A key piece of advice I want everyone to know is that - In life you will meet people who are like flowers, society consist of a lot of flowers, be careful how you pick those flowers, some thorns are not forgiving. My personal favourite show, which I recommend to everyone to watch, is Gravity Falls, it's a master peice.

My name is Alex and I am a student at ISL Qatar. I am a musician, a member of the nationally acclaimed band ATM. I am a member of Syriac League, an NGO concerned with public well-being and philanthropy in Lebanon. I am heavily involved with operational affairs regarding the institutions I am a part of, being heavily involved in decision making.

I am Jad Dabash, a Grade 12 student who always looks for opportunities to learn and grow, and I have learned a few things in the process that I would like to share with other people to help them grow. Although, I am reaching the end of my time as a school student. I would still like to consider myself as a student of life lessons. My speech shall bring a mix of my philosophizing and my way of thinking, combined with my passion for science (in accordance with the TED talk rules).

Hi my name is Taline, I'm a 16 year old student at the International School of London Qatar, and I'm Lebanese Dominican. I am a professional dancer and I've worked with FIFA on many projects. I am also part of a band that I created.
